Private lessons held by professional pianist Showko Tanaka
Our sister school PALIS (Poppins Active Learning International School) also feature’s private piano lessons from Showko Tanaka. The current wait-list is over 2 years.
Starting Fall once or twice a week on Sunday we will have lessons conducted by Showko Tanaka-Sensei at ALS Hiroo.
Ms. Tanaka studied under Mr. Yukio Yokoyama, the leading Japanese pianist who won the Chopin Competition. Ms. Tanaka has been active as a concert pianist and as a lecturer at Ueno Gakuen University Music Department. She is also our specialist music teacher on Wednesday mornings at ALS Hiroo.
This lesson features Ms. Tanaka teaching directly to each student and allowing them to play on the piano, listen to the beautiful piano moldies, deepen their understanding of a variety of music, and to learn to express the rhythm and melody on their own. .

※The lesson time is 20minutes to 30minutes. Students under 4 years old can only apply to for the 20minutes lesson.
