1. Acquired Personal Information

Our Group will acquire the following personal information through the service businesses specified in the table below, and will use the acquired personal information within the scope of the relevant purpose of use.

Personal information acquired in the Familycare business and the Educare business
- Address, name, date of birth, and gender of care recipients
- Address, name, and contact details (telephone number, email address) of service subscribers
- Records of services provided, records of accidents, and records concerning complaints
- Information on allergies that require consideration when implementing care plans and care, information on preferences and physical features, records concerning medical care
Personal information acquired in the training business
- Address, name, and contact details (telephone number, email address) of training applicants, questionnaire information, information concerning the results of training participation (including information associated with acceptance/rejection)
Personal information acquired in and shared across the staffing & temporary placement business and personnel-related operations
- Address, name, contact details (telephone number, email address), CV, and resume of applicants (new recruits)
Personal information acquired in personnel-related operations
- Personal information concerning employment selection (e.g., CV, resume, qualification information)
- Information concerning labor management, personnel appraisal information
Personal information acquired in inquiry operations
- Personal information acquired through contact forms, by telephone, etc.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

Our Group will use personal information within the scope of the purposes of use specified in the table below.

3. Joint Use

With the consent of customers, we will use personal information within our Group to facilitate referrals and proposals regarding our service businesses in line with the respective stages of life of customers and to achieve better customer-oriented service provision.

4. Outsourcing

Our Group may outsource the handling of all or part of personal information to the extent necessary to ensure management of acquired information and conduct operations associated with the purposes of use specified in Paragraph 2.
When outsourcing the handling of personal information, our Group will select a business that is deemed to satisfy the appropriate personal information protection standards, and will conduct the necessary and appropriate supervision regarding management of the security of personal information.

5. Provision to Third Parties

Our Group will not provide acquired personal information to third parties except in the cases specified in the following items.

When the customer who provided personal data to our Group has given consent
When submission is required by law
When provision is necessary to protect a person’s life, wellbeing, or property and it is difficult to obtain consent from the customer who provided personal data to our Group

6. Handling of Anonymized Information and Pseudonymized Information

When generating anonymized information and pseudonymized information, our Group will conduct this appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations.

7. Measures for Managing the Security of Personal Information

Our Group will appoint a person in charge of managing the security of personal information, and will establish and comply with personal information-related internal rules to implement measures to prevent unauthorized access to, leakage of, loss of, or damage to acquired personal information as well as for implementing appropriate measures for managing the security of personal information such as identification of the external environment.
Specifically, we have established rules for the handling of personal information that specify the handling method, roles of responsible persons, and other aspects in the respective stages of acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal, and check the management status through regular internal audits.
As measures to prevent unauthorized access to and taking out of personal information, we implement physical measures such as controlling entry to and exit from zones where personal information is handled, implement technical measures such as access restriction, acquisition of access trail, and data encryption, and adopt a system that protects personal information from unauthorized access or malware, as well as implementing measures for managing the security of personal information based on identification of the personal information database transfer destination.
We provide regular education and training to employees regarding points requiring attention when handling personal information.
In the event that personal information handled by our Group is leaked or compromised in any other manner, we will take the appropriate action, such as reporting to the Personal Information Protection Commission and informing the customer who provided personal data to our Group, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.

8. Cookies information, etc.

The website of our Group (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) uses a technology known as “cookies” to improve the convenience of customers using it.
Cookies save identification information of a customer’s browser with which the Website is accessed on the customer’s computer terminal (including smartphones, tablets, and other devices), thereby allowing information used the previous time to be read when the customer accesses the Website again.
Our Group uses cookies for changing the character size and background color displayed on the Website (functional cookies), as well as for analyzing and improving the usage status of the Website (performance cookies).

Access history (log)
Information such as when and from where customers using the Website accessed it is accumulated as access history (log) in the web server of our Group on the basis of IP addresses.

This information is used as operational information of the Website for purposes such as statistics and analysis of the website usage status and service improvement and is not used for gathering or analyzing personal information. When our Group receives a request for disclosure or the like of personal data held by our Group* from a customer who provided personal data to our Group or a representative of the customer, we will respond without delay except in the cases specified in the following items.

Personal data held by our Group is personal information acquired by our Group that may be subject to disclosure, revision, addition, or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “Disclosure”) by our Group upon request by a customer who provided personal data to our Group or a representative of the customer.
