For the first time, family members were also invited to attend the event. At the ceremony, Poppins Corporation President Maiko Todoroki gave an overview of the company, promising to provide a “safe and comfortable work environment” to ensure that Poppins continue to be the preferred choice. She called on the graduates to “give the children all of your love and care, and to be there for their parents.” One family member who attended the event commented, “Learning about the company reassured me that they will be in good hands.” We look forward to welcoming and seeing our new colleagues continue to grow.New Poppins Pet Care serviceFamily CareIn September, Poppins launched a new pet-sitting service, Poppins Pet Care. Staff selected and trained according to Poppins Group standards provide support for the health and happiness of those special members of the family. One feature of the service is that all sitters have experience working with pets or raising animals, and collaborate closely with veterinarians, trainers, and other specialists. Reservations, communication with sitters, and the current status of pets are made quick and easy by using LINE. As a provider of childcare and nursing services, we strive to offer the industry’s first comprehensive service that also cares for pets as part of the family.Improving the quality of Tokyo babysitting servicesThe Tokyo Babysitter Use Support Program provides babysitting subsidies to households with children (0-5 years old) on nursery waiting lists or parents returning to work after childcare leave. Poppins Foundational In-Home Childcare Training has been certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a designated mandatory training course for babysitters participating in the project. The training brings together a team of specialist instructors who have contributed greatly to early childhood education at Poppins. It is the first babysitter training to be made available on-demand (via e-Learning) in the industry. Families can look forward to the support of highly-trained nannies in their own homes.POPPINS GROUP NEWSYebisu Garden Place transformation sets the stage for learningAfter undergoing a complete revamp in November 2022, Yebisu Garden Place boasts even more greenery and new commercial facilities. At Poppins Active Learning International School (PALIS) in Yebisu, students are enjoying this renewed environment to the full, taking strolls through Garden Place, observing the seasonal plants, and trying their hands at crafting wooden musical instruments at a new DIY shop. Over the holiday season, Baccarat chandeliers and Christmas decorations added to the outdoor fun. We will continue to make the most of this wonderful environment to support the children’s growth through various experiences. PALIS also offers single-day programs, so please come and join us.
